* "twentyfour: A Day in the Life of Long Beach"

* WHEN: SAT, OCT. 11TH / 4 PM - 10 PM

* WHAT: twentyfour (http://avillagecommun...) is a photography project fueled by our passion for the city and people of Long Beach. All photographs were taken over a 24 hour period in August. Twentyfour features the captivating photography of local Long Beach artists: Jon Thomas (formerly of Aversion), Michelle Bourne (The Midnight Society), Natalie Chan (The Four Legged Stool), Leslyn Heaston (formerly of I.N.O.), Jay Johnson (A Village Community), Matt Bivens (Acoustic Missionaries), Gilbert Hernandez (Deluxesoul) and others!

* WHAT: Come volunteer at kids booths in the inner city of downtown Long Beach! This event is huge, drawing hundred of kids from the neighborhood.
