Hi-

I just wanted to let you know about an upcoming opportunity to serve the children of inner city Long Beach on Halloween, October 31st (one week from today). There is a carnival with game booths and prizes and all sorts of fun for the kids being held at the home of a woman named Jana, who has voluntarily put on this Carnival for years.

Where: 640 W. 9th St., Long Beach, CA
When: October 31st, Carnival STARTS at 5:30pm, ENDS at 8:00
Why: to serve the inner city children
What: YOU! You are needed to help run game booths

So if you are interested in spending a few hours running a game booth next Tuesday night, then let me know or join us there 5:00-5:30 (earlier the better).

***The carnival is held at the home of Jana Shields (640 W. 9th): this is west of Magnolia, near Drake Park, come early because parking will likely be difficult.
