Bad News! The Sunday league which starts June 8th is filled.

We've been guaranteed a spot for the Monday night league which starts July 7th. Games are scheduled between 6:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. It follows the same format of 6-7 regular season games and then a single elimination tournament. These games will be played at Brands Park, 3259. N. Elston.

We will play one 1-hour game each Monday. The times of these games have not been determined. Per Chicago Sport and Social Club procedure, the schedule is posted a week before the start of the season. For a more detailed explanation, please refer to the league website. http://www.chicagospo...

Registration fees for this league are $38/person. This covers 6 to 7 regular season play followed by a single-elimination playoff, one team t-shirt, equipment, umpires, league administration, and food and drink specials at sponsor bars.

Format: Coed 10 v 10, i.e. 6 men and 4 women on the field at all times. We will roster 20 players, 12 men and 8 women.

I'm opening up the team to members who RSVPd 1st to our original date. If the original members are unable to play, then the team will be open to the entire New In Town meetup group. So for the time being, this event is closed. I will send out an update if this changes.

Next steps are below:
1) Team Meeting: June 1st, 1 p.m.- Ann Sather, 3411 N. Broadway.

We'll get the business out of the way and then feel free to stay for the Disco Brunch. At the meeting we will:
*Collect forms and paperwork required by Chicago Sport & Social Club
*Decide on a team name
*Get to know our team members over great food!

2) Pay your $38.00 league dues via paypal: NLT May 31st @ 11:59 p.m. The paypal link is at the top of this event listing.

3) Submit your T-Shirt size to me: NLT May 31st @ 11:59 p.m. They are mens t-shirts. Available sizes are S/M/L/XL/1X/2X.

4) Lastly, we need a team name. Right now we are called "Kickball team w/ no name." Not very catchy....Please think of some ideas and bring them with you to the June 1st meeting.
