A popular place in northern Kentucky for shopping and nightlife is MainStrasse Village. The MainStrasse Village website describes it as follows: "MainStrasse Village is a designated national historic district that is the home of Old World charm and New World fun. We offer a unique variety of shops, restaurants, pubs and entertainment and we pride ourselves on offering a safe environment to visitors and residents alike."

Also in this area is the Covington Arts District, which hosts a First Friday Gallery Hop. The Enquirer wrote a piece about it a few years ago, but I think it still applies. Read it here.

We'll take in the MainStrasse part of the Gallery Hop, at the same time enjoying the food and music in this lively part of town. The hop officially ends at 10:00 but that's when things are just getting started for the evening bar crowd, so there's a great likelihood we'll stay later.

Let's meet at Bean Haus with some coffee and conversation, and head out from there.

    Well, the Gallery Hop wasn't all it was cracked up to be, but the company was good, and it was a fun night none-the-less.

    It looks like all of my pieces will fall into place and I will be able to join you all on Friday at the Bean Haus.
