Our group will be allowed in first and Nate, the MC will personally
provide our Meetup group FREE survival kits! Again, they'll have a couple of pizzas reserved, and have free snacks for everyone about half-way through the show.

We will also be filming a 3-5 minute clip about Meetup at the Rocky Horror which will premiere on the big screen (TBA) for the next time we meet at Parkway, so put on your best performing hat!

For parking - there is a parking behind the businesses that are across the street from the Parkway Cinema. After 11pm, most people park in the Kragen Auto Lot. Some of the Kragen management don't like this, but it's a big empty lot right next to the theatre. Don't park there while Kragen is open, or they may tow.

They will be having a costume contest, and will give out three prizes for the costumes that get the most applause. They will give away two special passes (good for free admission for 2 people, plus a free bowl of popcorn) to 2nd and 3rd place, and the person who gets the MOST applause will get a pass for four people + a free pizza.

Survival Kits: Audience members can purchase what we call "survival kits" for every show. During the movie, the audience participates by blowing bubbles during a wedding scene, spinning noise makers, and tossing toilet paper, cards and even toast. They will provide them to our Meetup group for free!

Rocky Horror Picture Show:
Barely Legal is a live performance cast which performs The Rocky Horror Picture Show every Saturday night at midnight! Barely Legal got their start in Berkeley in 1995, and currently performs weekly at the Parkway Cinema. The Parkway is the perfect venue for Barely Legal's sleek, fun, exciting, professional show with its beautiful stage, comfortable couches, and incredible environment. The theatre serves delicious pizza, snacks and soda. Come watch Rocky Horror in style!

Barely Legal puts on a very professional show complete with full stage props, incredible performances, exciting pre-shows, and audience participation.

Barely Legal Productions began performing Rocky Horror at Berkeley's UC Theatre in late 1995, gathering a loyal group of fans over the years. Landmark Theatres, owners of the UC Theatre, closed Rocky Horror on January 2, 1999. The Parkway Theatre brought Rocky Horror back to the East Bay on February 13, 1999, but only to the 21+ crowd, because the Parkway serves alcohol. The taps were shut off at Rocky in December 1999, and the age limit changed to allow 17 and up.

Tickets for the shows are available on the day of the performance, with the box office opening at 5:30pm on Saturdays, and the cost is $7.00. Please note that we only accept Credit Cards for payment until 10:30 pm. Hence, if you want to pay with a credit card for a Rocky Horror ticket you may do so before 10:30 pm.

NO ONE UNDER 17 WILL BE ADMITTED. Please bring your IDs as they are very strict about this.
