Barcelona New In Town (assoc. English Oasis INTERCAMBIOs)
|
With 3 weekly meetings plus weekend activities, we must be one of the most active Meet Up groups. If you're looking to meet new people (locals and expats), improve your Spanish or Catalan, get insiders' info on life in Bcn, find fun things to do, cool places to go and a bunch of friendly people to come with you...then, join us! We organise "intercambios" three times a week (Tues in Gracia, Wed on Las Ramblas and Thurs just off Plaza Sant Jaume) plus, weekend outings to food places, markets, festivals, tours of the city, exhibitions etc. We send out weekly emails with all the details, so if you want to partake in one of our activities, you really need to sign up. Our members know where we meet and rarely RSVP but our intercambios still go on, so don't worry if you don't see anyone "officially" signed up. Of the 20 or so who attend every intercambio (check out our photo section) about 60% are Spanish/Catalan speaking and 40% expats. Only two euro for first timers, four euro from then on. You can find out more about us on our own website: WWW.ENGLISHOASISCAFE .COM
