Scotland's debut and sell-out Taste Festival in 2007 is returning on 29 May ? 1 June 2008. Taste of Edinburgh will be hosting over 20 of the city's top restaurants in the glorious surrounds of The Meadows in conjunction with channel 4.

Restaurants including Michelin starred Martin Wishart, award-winning Dakota and Forth Floor at Harvey Nichols will be serving up signature dishes in sample sizes and entertaining visitors over the four days.

This year's fantastic features will include the Taste Kitchen where you will find your favourite chefs and food writers running fabulous demonstrations and tastings celebrating the very best of Scottish food. On the Food and Whisky School you will be able to watch and interact with leading industry whisky experts and taste a variety of Scottish whiskies.

CROWNS ? Taste Festivals operates its own currency called Crowns. Crowns can be purchased with tickets and at the event and are required to buy dishes from the restaurants and can also be used to buy food and drink from exhibitors.
