Professionals New to Birmingham and the South
|
I organized this Meetup as someone who has lived throughout the U.S. and overseas, and would like to meet other professionals new to the South. Let's get together and share experiences and conversation on topics reaching beyond the horizons of church and college football. Arts, sciences, movies, books, travel, restaurants, you name it.

"Welcome to our Meetup group, Stephanie!"
-
"Rob, I can see why you are culturally starved here in Birmingham. Hopefully that will change soon. Its lot to do here, you just have to find it!"
-
"Thanks for signing up, Lucky. See you later this month? 'Hope so!"
-
"i'm not sure i qualify for this group but would like to. i was born and raised in the 'ham, but just moved back approx 1.5 years ago. i'm no stranger to (or hater of) the south but feel somewhat displaced and isolated by the culture"
