The older you get the more you begin to understand the importance of having other women in you life. Husbands & boyfriends are great but when you're ready to blow off steam (& want someone to listen & UNDERSTAND how you feel), want to have some wine & a giggle, feel the need to shop til you drop, want to grab a chick flick & sob or go get sushi after your mani/pedi, let's face it, you need you girlfriends. Nothing recharges your battery faster than getting away for some good old girl time.

What we do here is fun, specifically we enjoy playing Euro and American style games, They both have their merits. We Also enjoy different types of card games and dice games, occasionally outdoor games.

If you have been attending meetups and feel a bit older than the rest of the women, this casual gathering might be just right: we begin at a member's home. Maybe we bring our own nibbles. Perhaps some tea and sweets. Mostly we chat and get to know each other. Maybe a topic is suggested and we chew that over. Or lunch one time, and a movie the next. Mostly it is to meet new, interesting women who remember when a can of tuna fed a family of five!

We are all about dogs!  The Sarasota-Bradenton area is a great place to be, especially if you have a dog.  We'll meet with and without our dogs and explore dog-friendly places about town.   If the group decides that they are interested in a particular doggie topic, we'll arrange for a guest speaker.  Mostly we just want to meet other dog folk in Sarasota and Bradenton and have fun!
